Instructions for holidays
The Seder booklet series for the Jewish holidays provides adults with clear instructions for the ceremonies of Shabbat, Passover, Rosh Hashanah, and other holidays. They explain step by step what to do, what is said, and the meaning behind the customs – clearly and comprehensibly, and without assuming any prior knowledge. They are complemented by prayer books for every moment of Jewish life: for morning prayers, evening prayers, Rosh Chodesh, special days, and personal occasions. The prayers are printed in the original text, with translations and explanations – so even beginners can gain access to the Jewish prayer tradition and introduce it into everyday family life.

The concept
Maamin Publishing (Hebrew: מאמין – "I trust/believe") is dedicated to passing on Jewish traditions in the conviction that living according to the Torah leads to true blessing. With our carefully designed books, learning materials, and interactive content, we aim to demonstrate how trust in the Lord can unfold in everyday life through mitzvot and chagim—and how it brings us closer to the Land of Israel.
Our goal is to use age-appropriate publications to illustrate how each mitzvah enriches one's personal life and strengthens one's connection to God. The name "Maamin" reflects this: Trust gives rise to the strength to live the mitzvot – and in living the mitzvot, trust, in turn, grows. A blessed cycle that promotes happiness and inner success.
Each of our works arises from the desire to bring the beauty and depth of our ancestors' traditions to life in the present. We follow their example and carry on their wisdom—by honoring the lessons and experiences of 3,500 years of Jewish history and applying them in our daily lives. In this way, we make our contribution to a true Tikkun Olam—the healing and perfection of the world as the Eternal One intended.
The concept
The right work for every holiday!
Every Jewish festival deserves its own dedicated space, and that's exactly what we provide.
Rather than general anthologies that mix together many festivals and topics, we dedicate a separate book or matching product to each holiday. This enables you to explore a single festival in depth, with all its associated elements.
Take Shavuot, for example:
A beautiful but often underrated festival. Compared to Hanukkah or Purim, Shavuot is less well known, but this doesn't have to remain the case!
Would you like to experience Shavuot in a meaningful way, exploring all its customs and stories? In our range, you will find thematically focused books about Shavuot, as well as lovingly designed decorations, toys for children, learning and craft kits, and gift ideas, all of which are related to the holiday. This brings Shavuot to life and makes it a real family experience, ensuring it doesn't get lost among other holidays.
Our books and products allow you to immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of each holiday, including Rosh Hashanah, Passover, Hanukkah and Shavuot, as well as many others in the Jewish calendar.
Compiled with great care and attention, our selection offers inspiration, information and creative ideas to help you celebrate and rediscover each Jewish holiday.
Simply choose the holiday or tradition you would like to explore in more depth and celebrate it in a way that suits you and your family.
Whether you are newly introduced to them or already familiar with them, every step will make your Jewish year even more vibrant.
Facts, sources and access, without interpretation.
Our works provide straightforward access to information about Jewish holidays, traditions and texts. We present the background, fundamental Jewish texts and historical contexts in a precise, well-founded and comprehensible manner, free from our own theological or ideological interpretation. Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to access the original sources and explore the foundations of Jewish holidays and traditions independently.
We explain terms, texts, and processes in detail, provide context, and make everything understandable while remaining neutral.
We explain terms, texts and processes in detail, provide context and make everything understandable, while always remaining neutral. We deliberately refrain from offering personal interpretations or judgements, giving you space to form your own conclusions. This enables each reader to discover the topics for themselves and form their own opinion, regardless of which Jewish movement they identify with – or if they simply wish to learn more about Judaism.
This concept makes our products valuable and accessible to everyone, including people from all areas of Judaism, interested non-Jews, and educational institutions seeking an unbiased, factual approach to Jewish sources and traditions.
